Design and Construction Inspection Services for CR405 (Sunset Hill Road) over Eight Mile Creek Culvert Replacement Project

1 The successful Proposer will be required to provide the following engineering services and to submit a stamped set of plans and specifications for the CR405 (Sunset Hill Rd.) over Eight Mile Creek culvert replacement project. The design shall be in accordance with current AASHTO and NYSDOT Standard Specifications, except as modified by, and with the written approval of the Albany County Department of Public Works, Division of Highway Engineering. NYSDOT Standard Specifications for Construction and Materials will be used, with special specifications prepared only if necessary. 2 The successful Proposer will perform an in-depth field inspection at the culvert site, including field measurements and photographs. Existing record drawings will be used and verified where possible. Access to the existing triple 60 foot long, 4 foot diameter corrugated metal pipe culverts will be from the streambed; no special equipment or vehicles will be required. The successful proposer will provide all necessary provisions for maintenance and protection of traffic during the field inspection work.
