December 2022 Road Resurfacing

The Board of Commissioners announces the following Public Work Projects to be bid per the following: Bituminous asphalt resurfacing of various sections of roads in Morgan County. The award will be based on lowest responsible bid for the total of all itemized projects on the December 2022 Paving List Table 1 Summary form. Some projects include Line Striping. Projects must be completed within Morgan County by July 1st Fiscal / Calendar year 2023. Start date not before April 1st 2023. Contractors shall comply with all requirements of IC-5-16-13. Questions: A complete list of roads to be bid along with Bid Specifications and General Information can be obtained from the County Highway Engineer. Form 96 can be obtained at the office of the County Engineer. December 2022 Paving List Table 1 to be attached to form 96. Bid Bond: Special Provisions Performance Bond: Special Provisions Payment Bond: Special Provisions Insurance: Workman's Compensation and minimum $1,000,000 liability each occurrence, $2,000,000 aggregate coverage must be certified to Morgan County. Liquidated Damages: Liquidated Damages as listed in section 108.09 shall apply per calendar day if the project is not completed within the specified period of time.
