Description

This project will provide the construction of corrections to a community wastewater treatment and disposal system recently constructed in July 2021. The corrections have been identified following system startup, where higher than anticipated flows have been observed and the site's topography resulted in localized damage to the drip disposal mound. Extra disposal capacity is available in the form of an unused drainfield, and operational adjustments have been implemented to correct the conditions that led to soil mound damage. The corrections constructed by this project will establish a valved connection to the unused drainfield that will provide operators with additional capacity during high flow events, and repair the damaged section of the drip disposal soil mound.
