Residential Weatherization 8650

This project is a stick built home located in Lakewood, Washington. The residence was built in 1952 and is in good condition. The residence is 1176 SqFt. Roof is composition shingle and is in good condition. Auditor/Inspector requests to walk through the project prior to work beginning. Installation of weatherization measures outlined in attached pricing spreadsheet. Work includes electrical measures. All work is subject to local codes and jurisdictional rules. Lead-safe work practices are expected. Contractor will perform all work outlined in scope. Subcontractors are allowed. The contractor is responsible for obtaining any and all necessary permits. The contractor is responsible for filing intent/affidavits. Pursuant to weatherization program rules; no sales tax will be charged on materials installed. Installation must meet the Department of Commerce requirements for weatherization. The Contractor shall provide material warranty and specifications to the County and homeowner. A bid bond will not be required for this work All project work shall be completed within 90 calendar days of issuance of the Notice to Proceed by the County. This contract may not exceed $50,000, including all fees and taxes. We will not be hosting a pre-bid walk-through for this procurement. Please bid based on information provided.
