Description | Project involves replacing the Chillers serving three (3) Buildings owned by the Department of Corrections, Central Region located in Kent County, Delaware as listed below: James T. Vaughn Corr. Center (JTVCC)- S-1 Bldg., Smyrna, DE- One (1) 80-ton water cooled chiller. Community Corrections Treatment Center (CCTS), Smyrna, DE - Two (2) 80-ton water cooled chiller. Morris Community Corrections Center (MCCC), Dover, DE - Two (2) 86-ton air cooled chiller. Contract documents may be obtained by mailing a check to the office of Tetra Tech, Inc., 240 Continental Drive, Suite 200, Newark, DE 19713. Documents will be sent upon receipt of the nonrefundable $100 check. Documents will be available after the Pre-Bid Meeting. Checks are to be made payable to "Tetra Tech". Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not less than two calendar days notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders receiving plans.
