| Description | As of May 11, 2023, project was awarded to Ken Delaney Excavation, awarded amount is $414,395.21. The Cayuga County Soil and Water Conservation District (herein after referred to as the Cayuga County SWCD), Cayuga County, New York, will receive sealed bids for the Sunrise Ag, LLC Bunk Silo Relocation, Leachate Collection System and Access Road which consists of the relocation of a bunk silo, including construction of a new approximately 16,000 square foot bunk silo and approximately 6,400 square foot apron, including earthwork, concrete and drainage; approximately 1,172 linear foot access road, roadside ditch and leachate collection and treatment system including leachate pump, concrete tank, and approximately 7,500 square foot vegetated treatment area for bunk leachate, including level lip spreaders, at the site on Martin Road, in the Town of Owasco. The District Board reserves the right to waive any information in bids and to reject any/or all bids if it is in the public interest to due so. Please see the below information regarding the submersible pump for the leachate tank on the Sunrise Ag project bid. • Self-priming submersible pump • Passes up to 3 IN (76 mm) solids minimizing pump blockage from debris • Can be run dry without damage for longer working life • Carry handle with lifting eye makes it easy to transport, move, lift, and lower • Locking coupler for discharge hose included • Can draw water down to depth of 2-3/4 IN (70 mm) Please Note: The drawing detail or description detail for the bunk wall design is to be approved by landowner. |
