Description

**Project was awarded to Diversified Construction in the amount of $671,363.31. Professional Service firms, contractors, and subcontractors, should be familiar with the requirements regarding conditions of employment, correct job classifications and minimum wage rates for all workers on this project. Professional Service firms, contractors and subcontractors must comply with all Federal, State, and local requirements. Minority and female firms are encouraged to participate in this Federal funded project. Procurement shall be in compliance with the Common Rule, 24 CFR 85.36. Potential contractors and subcontractors should be familiar with the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and 24 CFR 570.602 and Executive Order 11246 - Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action. The work performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 USC 1701 u [Section 3]. The purpose of Section 3 is to ensure employment and other economic opportunities generated by HUD assistance or HUD assisted projects covered by Section 3 shall to the greatest extent feasible, be directed to low and very-low income persons, particularly persons who are recipients of HUD assistance for housing.
