Interstate Route H-1 Addition and Modification of Freeway Access Kapolei Interchange Complex, Phase 3

The project entails the construction of a new highway interchange, bound by Farrington Highway, the Interstate Route H-1 Freeway and Harbor Access Road between the Kapolei West and Kapolei Commons Properties, and the removal of off-ramp Exit 1A to Kalaeloa Boulevard. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the removal of existing asphalt concrete pavement, signs, guardrails, vegetation, light poles, street light boxes and electrical lines; construction of retaining walls; grading; installation of drainage culverts, subsurface utilities and headwalls; sewer utilities; water utilities; reinstallation of highway lighting, light poles and electrical lines; installation of new guardrails; installation of new concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement, pavement markings, and signage; and, all incidental construction as indicated on the drawings and specifications. The estimated cost of construction is between $30,000,000.00 and $40,000,000.00. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
