Description | Questions Due: August 11, 2022 - 11:00am The Capital District Transportation Authority (CDTA) is accepting bids from qualified firms through the Invitation For Bid (IFB) process to replace broken glazing panels at our bus shelters, on an as needed basis, throughout the Capital District which includes Albany, Schenectady, Rensselaer, Saratoga and Montgomery Counties. We currently own 192 shelters in Albany County, 52 Schenectady County, 72 in Rensselaer County and 19 in Saratoga County, and 4 in Montgomery County. The term of this contract will be for 3 years with 2 one-year options. Award of contract will be based on the first year only in accordance with the attached bid sheet. During each subsequent year, the contract will be adjusted by the Consumer Price Index (All Urban Consumers) thereafter, along with any increase in prevailing wage rates. All questions regarding the technical contents of the Invitation for Bid are to be submitted IN WRITING to Stacy Sansky, Director of Procurement Capital District Transportation Authority, 110 Watervliet Avenue, Albany, New York 12206 (518-437-8342, sdsansky@cdta.org) by August 11, 2022, 11:00AM EST. The contract for the above will be awarded to the contractor with lowest bid. The Authority requires that all bids be responsive to this invitation and that bidders be responsible. The Authority will follow established procedures for determining the responsibility of bidders. The Authority hereby notifies all potential service providers that disadvantaged, minority and women-owned business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit proposals in response to this notice and there will be no discrimination on the basis of race, creed, color, sex, national origin, disability or marital status in the award of the contract or any subcontract. |
