West Courts Hot Water Boilers Replacement

The existing building domestic hot water system is being replaced with (2) new dedicated hot water heaters / boilers to serve the building domestic water requirements. The removal and installation of the domestic hot water system must be performed and scheduled as needed such that the following system performance requirements are maintained throughout the construction period: 1. The building domestic hot water system shall generate 140 Deg F water which will be stored in domestic hot water storage tanks. The domestic hot water system will include mixing valves which will provide 120 Deg F water to the building. 2. The revisions to the building domestic hot water system shall be performed in a manner and with a schedule as needed to maintain a constant 120 Deg F water supply to the building throughout the construction period. 3. The removal and installation of the existing & new domestic hot water system must be done with a “phasing” approach as necessary to maintain the previously noted 120 Deg F requirement.
