Description

The Town of Holly Springs seeks proposals from qualified contractors for a renovation project at the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP), located at 150 Treatment Plant Road. We are upfitting/making interior alterations to the maintenance warehouse building to create suitable office spaces for staff. The work consists of but is not limited to: electrical work, plumbing, installation of new LVT flooring, replacement of drop ceiling tiles, new ceiling insulation, sheetrock repair and paint. Refer to the scope of services and conceptual floor plan attached for details. All work must be consistent and compatible with North Carolina Building Codes, current NEC Electrical Codes and Ordinances. Interested contractors must have demonstrated experience with renovation projects, especially with buildings that are occupied by staff during construction. Work schedule will be coordinated with the selected contractor and the Town of Holly Springs Water Resources Department to ensure there is moderate disruption of work and that sensitive/protective areas within the facility are not compromised. The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals, or to alter the selection process in any lawful way, to postpone the selection process for its own convenience at any time, and to waive any non-substantive defects in this RFP or the proposals. The Town reserves the right to negotiate with other qualified persons or firms, or to solicit additional statements of qualifications at any point in the project should it fail to negotiate a reasonable fee with the initially selected person or firm or should that firm fail to execute the Towns Agreement. The Town of Holly Springs does not discriminate in administering any of its programs and activities. The consultant awarded the contract for work will be required to ensure that no person shall be denied employment, fair treatment or be discriminated against based on race, sex, religion, age, national origin, or ancestry. It is the policy of the Town to provide minorities and women equal opportunity for participating in all aspects of the Towns contracting and procurement programs, including but not limited to, construction projects, supplies and materials purchase, and professional and personal service contracts. Any contract developed for work shall be construed and enforced in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina. Any controversy or claim arising as a result of contracting shall be settled by an action initiated in the appropriate division of the General Court of Justice in Wake County, North Carolina. Question Deadline 11/04/2022 at 4:00 PM ET November 11th Responses to Questions Issued. Questions regarding this RFP should be directed to Kimberly A.
