Description

The Base Bid includes replacement of approximately 5,350 lf of existing cast iron water main in West Main street (Route 9) with new 12-inch ductile iron water main, new service connections, hydrants, surface restoration and appurtenant work. Bid Alternate No. 1 includes replacement of approximately 2,400 lf of existing cast iron water main in West Main Street with new 8-inch ductile iron water main. Bid Alternate No. 2 includes replacement of approximately 3,600 lf of existing cast iron water main in West Main Street with new 8-inch and 12-inch ductile iron water main. Bid Alternate No. 3 includes cleaning and cement lining of approximately 200 lf of existing 8-inch cast iron pipe in East Main Street
