Secondary Effluent Yard Piping for Biosolids Hex Loop Upgrades

The principal features of the Work to be performed under this Contract include construction of the ECR Secondary Effluent Yard Piping for Biosolids HEX Loop, including but not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of an existing 30-inch strainer, single booster pump, and associated piping, electrical and instrumentation. 2. Installation of a 16-inch automatic backwash strainer and associated controls, monitoring equipment and vender control panel, piping, valves and appurtenances. 3. Installation of a duplex backwash booster pump system and associated piping to supply strainer backwash water, and a vender control panel for the pumping system. 4. Electrical work associated with the installation of the new equipment utilizing existing power source to the existing strainer control panel, utilizing existing conduits for routing new wire and installing new conduits, wire and flex connections as needed to complete the installation. 5. Instrumentation work to repurpose existing signals associated with the 30-inch strainer for the new strainer and booster pump installation. 6. Piping modifications of existing piping, and the installation of new piping and fittings to connect to existing plant process piping. 7. Sitework, including but not limited to, removal and disposal of existing trees, and the relocation or replacement of existing trees. Site grading and surface restoration to restore the Contractor disturbed areas to preconstruction conditions.
