Description

1.Contractor shall, pull all necessary permits required for installation. 2.Recover refrigerant in accordance with all federal, state, and local regulations. 3.Remove and dispose of existing units, and any other parts and/or equipment not needed for the new equipment.4.Disconnect and reconnect gas supply, hard-piped or all new flex connectors. 5.Disconnect and reconnect plumbing. Where necessary, condensate drains that do not meet code, must be repaired,or replaced to meet current building codes.Approximately 10 units are currently dumping on the roof and must be piped to nearby condensate drains. The six Auditorium unit condensates are difficult toaccess and may have to be re-piped. 6.Disconnect and reconnect electrical supply, including factory installed disconnects. 7.Disconnectexisting convenience outletsand install newconvenience outlets, where applicable(Qty 40).8.Disconnect and reconnect existing thermostats.9.Disconnect and reconnect any fire alarm duct detectors.10.Provide and install new accumulators and filter driers on 7.5 ton split systems.11.Install curb adapters where needed with new curb tape. Curb tape shall be a minimum of 2” wide x 1/2” thick.12.Install, set, and test economizers. 13.Install hail guards. 14.Contractor shall be responsible to perform the start-up for heating and cooling, and must verify the proper operation of each unit, the economizers, and hot gas re-heat if applicable. 15.Provide and install new permanent labeled placards with Room Number and Breaker Number. 16.Main Office unit’s exterior ductwork to be wrapped with aluminum/pvc jacket. 17.Contractor shall be responsible for any yard, asphalt, and/or concrete damage. 18.Contractor shall be responsible for any roofing damage. 19.Contractor shall remove all debris and leave the site in clean condition upon completion of the project. Provide pricing to remove and dispose of eleven (35) roof mounted exhaust fans and to install (35) new roof mounted exhaust fans (owner provided). The new fans will mount on existing curbs and be of the same voltage, RPM, and CFM as the exhaust fan they are to replace.Average fan spec: 20”x20”, RPM 1725, CFM 100
