| Description | The inspection will include all accessible medical gas inlets and outlets that are in current patient care areas. Testing of all medical gas zone shut-off valves for labels, gauge accuracy and external leaks that are in current patient care areas. Actively simulate pressure changes to activate the master alarm signals of area alarms for indicators and gauge accuracy included in current patient care areas. Contaminant testing, particulate testing Oxygen concentration analysis and Inspection of the medical gas source equipment for code compliance. Documentation of all areas is necessary. Test and measuring equipment used by the Contractor in performance of this contract must be calibrated in the last twelve months to a traceable national or international standard such as National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). |
