Water Treatment Plant Filter Media Replacement & Improvements

Mobilization, drain down and filter tank isolation; 2) filter tank media and internal parts removal and disposal; 3) re-bed two filter tanks with 142 cu. Ft. of MARIS™ media or equal; 4) re-route/reverse the treatment plumbing flow using PVC piping and fittings; and 5) perform EPA required bacteria and lab testing for startup. Alternate bid – in order of importance: 6) (if needed) refurbish the internal walls of the filter tanks and replace worn parts; 7) change the disinfection process from Chlorine gas to liquid gas by adding a chemical feed pump; and 8) install post-Chlorination chemical feed system.
