Bridge Maintenance Contract

Provide maintenance work to correct or prevent problems related to the deterioration of a variety of bridge components on four structures on federal-aid eligible routes in the counties of Columbia, Dutchess, Putnam and Ulster. In Columbia County the structure included in the project is on the Taconic State Parkway over the Taghkanic Creek in the Town of Taghkanic. The structure being rehabilitated in Dutchess County is on Route 9 over Wappinger Lake in the Town of Wappinger and Poughkeepsie. In the Town of Philipstown in Putnam County, the structure over Clove Creek on Route 9 is being addressed in this project. In Ulster County, rehabilitation of the bridge over the Sawkill Creek on Route 212 in the Town of Woodstock is being undertaken. This project will preserve and prolong the service life of the structures through cost effective rehabilitation strategies.
