CVH New Cooler at Battell Hall

The project involves the replacement of an existing exterior mounted cooler, including, but not limited to the following: i) Removal of existing 10’ x 18’ cooler, metal angle structural system, roof assembly & piers. Cooler to be removed in sections and relocated on site as directed by DMHAS Engineering. ii) Removal of approximately 2 feet in length x 8 feet in height of existing 14” thick exterior wall with the installation of three new steel angle headers and plate. Installation of new aluminum diamond plate around new enlarged opening. iii) Erosion control, excavation for new foundation, and site restoration work. iv) Installation of new steel reinforced concrete foundation walls and slab. v) Installation of new 15’ x 20’ exterior cooler with associated electrical requirements and perimeter flashings per Allowance 1. vi) Removal and replacement of approximately 10 square feet of interior quarry tile finish floor. Installation of new aluminum diamond plate flooring. Installation of new diamond plate wainscoting at interior of cooler. vii) Installation/removal of a temporary wood platform for the temporary cooler and associated electrical work for the connection/disconnection of this cooler per Allowance 2. viii) Rental of a temporary 8’ x 10’ cooler for the time period between the removal of existing cooler and the installation of the new cooler per Allowance 2.
