Description

The Camino Rincon Water and Sewer Improvements, Phase 1B to Phase 4 project includes installation of a new sewer collection system and replacement of the existing water lines within the Camino Rincon area. The sewer and water are broken up in to four phases (Base bid, plus three additive alternates), as described below. All phases the of sewer lines include a service line connection to the existing residence sewer outfall and not just to the edge of property; successful bidder will need to coordinate with property owners in order to determine final locations for all service lines; approximate lengths of sewer services are provided for bidding purposes. All existing water service lines are to be transferred to the new line with minimal service interruption. Asphalt within NM-63 is to be removed and replaced from edge of pavement to the crown and replaced. All asphalt work in Camino Rincon is included in the scope of this project. Phase 1-B (Base Bid): Sewer Line: 2,313 Lineal feet of 8" Gravity Sewer Line (all sewer line located within NM-63 ROW will need to be concrete-encased, or within a casing pipe), and 18 SAS Manholes. Water Line: 723 lineal feet of 6" C-900 DR-18 waterline, 1611 lineal feet of 8" C-900 DR-18 water line. Rock Removal: Extensive rock removal is anticipated throughout the project, precise depths to rock are unknown, and quantities are approximate. All trenching below 8' in depth is assumed to include rock removal. Phase 2 (Additive Alternate 1): Lift Station #1: 2x 3 HP Submersible Lift Station Pumps, Capable of 160 GPM @ 27.9' TDH. Pumps are to be housed in a pre-fabricated FRP wet well, with a back-up generator. Force Main: 200 Lineal feet of 4" force main Sewer Line: 3,783 Lineal feet of 8" Gravity Sewer Line, and 12 SAS manholes. Water Line: 1611 LF of 8" C-900 DR-18 PVC water line, and 723 LF of 6" C-900 DR-18 PVC water line. Rock Removal: Extensive rock removal is anticipated throughout the project, precise depths to rock are unknown, and quantities are approximate. All trenching below 8' in depth is assumed to include rock removal. Phase 3 (Additive Alternate 2): Sewer Line: 2,864 Lineal feet of 8" Gravity Sewer Line, and 9 SAS manholes. Water Line: 1100 LF of 6" C-900 DR-18 PVC water line Rock Removal: Extensive rock removal is anticipated throughout the project, precise depths to rock are unknown, and quantities are approximate. All trenching below 8' in depth is assumed to include rock removal. Phase 4 (Additive Alternate 3): Grinder Pump Lift Station: New packaged grinder pump lift station, serving four houses on the west side of the Pecos River, with electrical service and all appurtenances. Force Main: 787 LF of HDPE force main, with a horizontal directional drill underneath the Pecos River.
