Kings Estate Road Drainage Improvements - HMGP 4283-44-A

The Contractor shall be responsible for providing any and all labor, materials, and equipment required for construction of drainage improvements in the vicinity of an existing culverted cross drain on Kings Estate Road, in St. Johns County, Florida. The existing cross drain is located east of Gorda Bella Avenue on Kings Estate Road and consists of a single 60” diameter corrugated metal pipe. The existing deteriorated cross drain shall be replaced with dual 54” diameter reinforced concrete pipes. The project also includes the reconstruction of the roadway, installation of new endwalls, adjustment to the existing water main, and all other components as shown on the plans. The existing roadway shall be milled and resurfaced within limits of the construction. Traffic shall be detoured around the project area as detailed on the plans to address maintenance of traffic at the construction site. Funding for this project is through the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) as approved by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (Division) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The FEMA project number is HMGP 4283-44-A, funded under FEMA-DR-4283-FL.
