Seminole Park - Various Site Amenity Improvements & Painting

As of 4/27/23, no bids were received for the project. Scope of work includes Preparation and Painting of Various Site Amenities throughout Seminole Park. Specific Amenities and Products are provided in bid documentation. Work is scheduled to begin Monday, April 3, 2023 with completion on July 15, 2023. All bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked with the contractor name and address and "Bid Proposal for Seminole Site Amenity Painting" on the face of the envelope. B Contractors are required to comply with the Des Plaines Park District Prevailing Wage Ordinance #15-03 which specifies that no less than the general prevailing rate of wages as found by the Park District or Illinois Department of Labor shall be paid each craft or type of worker or mechanic needed to execute the contract or perform the work. The scope of work is to remove the existing (2) backstop chain link fencing and replace with new black vinyl coated chain link. Then prepare and paint the ball diamond fencing, including sideline, dugouts and support poles for two ball diamonds. Review general plan prepared by Des Plaines Park District for additional information regarding project scope. B. Contractor is responsible for removal and legal disposal of all materials as well as any spoils generated at part of the project. - To remove existing (2) backstop chain link fencing, leaving existing support poles. Then installing new black vinyl coated chain link. - To prepare and paint specific site amenities within Seminole Park including; o (2) Ball diamonds fencing including - Dugouts - Sidelines - Existing support posts - Paint for Fencing to be an Alkyd Gloss Enamel or an approved equal
