Description

Replacement of approximately 850 linear feet (LF) of 14-inch force main with both 16-inch high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and polyvinyl chloride (PVC). The project will be constructed within the right-of-way of 3rd St W between Manatee Ave W and 8th Ave W. The new force main will primarily be constructed using horizontal directional drilling, with approximately 100 LF of open-cut sections. The project includes connection to existing isolation valves and manholes, installation of air-release valves, and careful coordination of existing utilities in the project area.
