Description

As per the Owner the project has been cancelled. Editorial Content Team is actively seeking updated information The U.S. Department of Labor is soliciting offers from qualified construction contractors that have the qualifications and experience for the construction of the Welcome Center and the Medical & Dental Buildings at the St. Louis Job Corps Center in St. Louis, MO. This project is being done to complete construction which include, but are not limited to, the demolition and removal of nine various one story buildings of approximately 15,000 gross square feet, the abatement and disposal of hazardous materials, the construction of a new Welcome Center of approximately 1,600 gross square feet, and the construction of a new Medical & Dental Building of approximately 7,500 gross square feet within the campus of the St. Louis Job Corps Center located in St. Louis Missouri. The requirement also involves the construction of new roads and parking lots, landscaping, storm drainage and utility line connections and site lighting. The estimated cost range is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. This is a full and open acquisition under NAICS Code 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. An outline of the work to be performed is provided in the specifications and drawings link. Please note: A prospective Offeror must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), prior to contract award.. Additional information and instructions for registration can be obtained through the following website: www.sam.gov Based upon acceptance of requirements within the contract, the contractor shall submit an electronic invoice to the Project A/E for review. The A/E will forward a copy of this invoice along with its certification to JCASinvoice@dol.gov, the COR, Contract Specialist administering the resultant contract and Contracting Officer. Contractors shall submit Questions and Clarifications pertaining to this Request for Proposal directly to the Sr. Contract Specialist MartrelOfferors shall advise the issuing office of attendee's names, and title/positions via email to pyattharvin.martrelle@dol.gov. The contractor is responsible for making all arrangements and for all costs and expenses to attend and participate in the Site Visit/Pre-Proposal Conference. The Contracting Officer, COR and Technical personnel will be available to discuss various aspects of the project. In order to allow preparation of responses and to expedite discussion, Offerors shall submit their questions in writing to the Contract Specialist at least five (5) working days prior to the date of the pre-proposal conference. Each question shall be submitted via e-mail to pyattharvin.martrelle@dol.gov.le A. Pyatt Harvin at pyattharvin.martrelle@dol.gov. Questions shall be submitted no later than January 21, 2022 (12:00 PM Eastern).Submissions must be provided in electronic copies via e-mail to Sr. Contract Specialist Martrelle A. The Contractor shall be required to (a) commence work under this resultant contract within ten (10) calendar days after the date the Contractor receives the notice to proceed, (b) prosecute the work diligently, and (c) complete the entire work ready for use not later than 360 days after receipt of the Notice to Proceed. The time stated for completion shall include final cleanup of the premises.
