Description

Description: The intent of this Invitation to Bid is to obtain total pricing for the City of Bridgeport Housing & Community Development Department per the attached bid specifications. Include with the submitted bid, a ten (10%) percent bid bond or a certified check made payable The successful bidder, prior to permission to proceed, will be required to post a payment bond of 100%of the contract price if the contract price is in excess of $100,000, and a performance bond for 100% of the contract price. Davis Bacon Wages are required in this project and are included with this bid package Question Deadline 06/30/2023 at 5:00 PM ET The City of Bridgeport reserves the right to reject any or all bids in whole or in part or to waive any informality in bidding if doing so is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Bridgeport. The contractor will assess the entire working area that has to be demolish on 88 to 102 Smith St. Contractor will completely demolish/demo the entire house/apartment structure including but not limited to the complete foundation, steel, sheetrock, insulation, 2xs, roofing, gas piping, stairs, garbage, nails etc. All debris will be removed to a legal dumping site. Demolition of existing building The Contractor is prohibited from assigning, transferring, conveying, subletting, or otherwise disposing of the ultimate contract award oritsrights,title orinteresttherein orits powerto execute such agreementto any other person, company or corporation without the prior consent and approval in writing by the City. The cutoff date for questions is 5 p.m., Friday, June 30, 2023. All answers will be placed on no later than close of business on Friday, July 7, 2023.
