Description | As of February 9, 2023, project was awarded to Coats Pump & Supply Inc., awarded amount is $241,293.52. The Work to be performed under this specification includes the furnishing of all labor, material, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to complete the well drilling and completion, well development, and well testing. The work consists of the satisfactory drilling, casing installation and cementing, well development, disinfection, and pump testing of one commercial water well. The work shall be completed in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings as approved by the Engineer. Addendum Date/Time: 12/20/2022 Sealed Package: SEALED BID ITB-23-00223-007 Cemetery New Artesian Well Project BIDDERS NAME, BIDDERS ADDRESS. Facsimile bids are not acceptable Bids will be opened in public at City Hall in the Large Conference Room, 2nd floor, 425 N. Richardson Ave, Roswell, NM, 88201. Any shipping or mailing costs will be the responsibility of the respective contractor and/or bidder. To help the City of Roswell defray printing costs; it is requested that unsuccessful bidders return the bidding documents in usable condition within ten (10) business days after bidding. Each Bidder is requested to visit the site of the proposed work and fully acquaint himself with the conditions relating to the construction and labor so that he may fully understand the facilities, difficulties, and restrictions attending the execution of the work under the Contract. Bidders shall thoroughly examine and be familiar with the Plans and Specifications and any federal, state, and local laws, ordinances, rules and regulations that may in any manner affect cost, progress, or performance of the work. The failure or omission of any Bidder to receive or examine any form, instrument, addendum, or other document or to visit the site and acquaint himself with conditions there existing shall in no way relieve any Bidder from obligations with respect to his bid or the Contract. The submission of a bid shall be taken as prima facie evidence of compliance with this section. All bids received are subject to approval of the City Council at the next regularly scheduled meeting. Notice is hereby given that the City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids received in case of ambiguity or lack of clearness, qualifications, references, and the right to determine the best bid, or, to reject the same and to waive irregularities and technicalities.
