CEP - Refurbishment of Two (2) Cooling Towers

a. Complete turnkey overhaul and mechanical rebuild of two (2) of the four (4) Ceramic Cooling Towers model PL-450-20BS (known as cooling towers 1 and 4). b. Remove old mechanical equipment and drift eliminators. c. Pressure wash and clean tower and existing ceramic fill to remain. d. Seal all joints. e. Repair broken spray headers and supports. f. Install new mechanical supports. g. Install new gear reducer, motor and fan with proper alignment and balance. h. Replace vibration, low oil, emergency stop, and any other safety devices/switches located on or within the towers. i. Install new drift eliminators. j. Replace stainless steel access doors/ frames on both towers. k. Replace stainless steel disconnect and conduit supports where needed at each tower. l. Provide and install new externally mounted oil level sight-glasses. m. Systems shall be started after installation is complete, and tested for proper operation with Capital Improvement Project Manager present.
