Description

-Prepare, pour and finish two concrete pads. One at each restroom entry door (Men’s and Women’s Rooms) -Remove existing vegetation, soft soil and rocks in new pad areas. -Compact existing soil only if it is adequate as a base for the new concrete. If inadequate, then remove and backfill with adequate soil and compact per the concrete manufactures specifications. -Form a three feet deep by five feet wide by four-inch-thick (minimum) area at each door location. Each area should be centered to within 1/8 inch of the existing door and have a 2% slope for drainage away from the existing building. os -ESCC’s Plant Supervisor will inspect and approve the formed layout prior to the contractor pouring any concrete. -Pour, float and broom finish each slab with 3000 PSI fiber reinforced concrete. -Follow all concrete manufacturer's directions, specifications and recommendations. -Place proper barriers and signage around the work area until the concrete is fully cured. -Contractor to remove forms and redress all areas around each slab. Clean up any debris, concrete slag, etc. around the worksite.
