Description

Paving project in the Withlacoochee State Forest, for the following locations: Cypress Glen Campground loop, Silver Day Use Area, and Continuation of Silver Lake Road to Cypress Glen. The Contractor Shall: 1. Verify all dimensions and existing conditions. 2. Provide all material needed for the completion of the project. 3. Mobilize equipment and labor and material. 4. Work only on weekdays. No work will be conducted on weekends or holidays. 5. Always Maintain one open lane of traffic for staff, emergency vehicles andcampers. 6. Ensure construction area/equipment are safe and secured on weekends, holidays, after hours, and on days when no construction activity is taking place. 7. Apply tack coat prior to resurfacing/paving operations. 8. Sawcut and tack edge of existing asphalt to new asphalt. 9. 19' wide paved entrance/exit that narrows to 12' with 14' prep to the right, but to the left must maintain wider area for traffic from existing dump station and through road to sites #10 through #22 which will narrow back to the 12' paved surface. The widths and shape of this junction need to bedefined. 10. Aprons to all campsites off main road to reduce breakdown of road edge with width and length to be defined. 11. Apron leading to boat ramp at day use area with width and length to be defined 12. Paving of overflow parking area near day use boat ramp 13. Provide a copy of all applicable insurance to contract manager before work begins.
