Description

As of October 5, 2022, the project has not been awarded and a timeline for award has not been established. Bid security in the amount of 5 percent of the Bid must accompany the Bid. This Project consists of constructing improvements to the City of Starke's existing Wastewater Treatment Facility which includes, but is not limited to, upgrades to the influent screen, biological treatment system, secondary clarifiers, disk filters, disinfection, aerobic digester improvements, and other components that support treatment processes and all materials, equipment, services and construction inherent to the Work. The Project has an expected duration of 660 days. The Project being bid is subject to Section 255.20 Florida Statutes and other applicable Laws. The Project is financed in part by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Rural Utilities Service (RUS), administered through the USDA Rural Development (RD) office (or "Agency") pursuant to the Consolidated Farm and Rural Development Act (7 USC Section 1921 et seq. Compliance with Agency requirements and Federal requirements is required. Concurrence by Agency in the award of the Contract is required before the Contract is effective. Applicable requirements include and compliance with following is required as a minimum: the American Iron and Steel requirements per Section 746 of Title VII of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2017 (Division A - Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2017). Deadline for questions regarding the bidding documents is 3PM local time on July 28th.
