RFQ Contractor - Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) Services

NYCHA is seeking vendors who have the capacity to furnish, install, maintain, and repair complete and working IP Video Surveillance systems across NYCHA developments city-wide, as well as to conduct field assessments to determine needs. Scope of work may include, but is not limited to the provision of: o IP cameras, enclosures, mounts, and associated parts; o Low Voltage Center (LVC) equipment and enclosures; o All required conduit; o Network video recording devices; o Ability to build and configure various Security Operations Centers; o Workstations for managing and monitoring the system; o Video surveillance system and OS software licenses; o Racks and rack mount hardware; o Electrical power circuits; o Room cooling along with the necessary electrical circuits for cooling systems; o Power of Ethernet (PoE) switches; o Fiber infrastructure; o Repairs on cabling, including fiber opticcabling; o Network infrastructure, including wireless mesh, and all associated power circuits, licenses, servers, and infrastructure; o OS software installation and configuration for all PC and servers; o Video Management System (VMS) software installation and configuration; o Configure all client accesses for all systems; o Install cameras with cabling and infrastructure suitable for the distance of the cameras from the nearest termination point; any camera that is too far for copper must be provided with fiber optic cable with fiber to Ethernet media converters and local power; o Signage required by NYCHA to notify residents of CCTV equipment presence and operation; and o Naming conventions of NYCHA must be coordinated and followed as a part of the contract Specific timeframes and additional specifications for each project will be outlined in each solicitation. Bidders are reminded that when their base bid exceeds $150,000.00, as set forth in Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders; it must be accompanied by bid security. Bidders failing to submit bid security as instructed in Section 6 of the Instructions to Bidders, when required, will be deemed non-responsive and will be ineligible for award of the Contract. Please note that as per Sections 6 and 10 of the Instructions to Bidders, the successful bidder will be required to provide one hundred percent (100%) Performance and Payment Bonds when the Contract exceeds $100,000.00. A successful bidder failing to submit Performance and Payment Bonds in accordance with Sections 6 and 10 of the Instructions to Bidders and as further instructed herein, will be deemed non-responsive and ineligible for award of the Contract. The Authority may reject defective or unsatisfactory Work or materials. The Contractor shall proceed at once with the correction of rejected, defective, or unsatisfactory workmanship or materials and shall have all objectionable materials removed from the site (or any place used for storing materials for use on the Work) and replaced. Qualification Announcement Ongoing beginning June 27, 2022 Vendors must prepare and submit applications to NYCHA's CCTV PQL at PQL@nycha.nyc.gov. To pre-qualify, vendors must meet the minimum requirements listed for experience, licensure, workforce capacity, and integrity. To bid on a specific CCTV contract, vendors should apply to the PQL no fewer than 15 days prior to a bid submission date to be considered for that solicitation. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time.
