Description

This is a stream bank stabilization and prairie reconstruction project. Approximately 1,000 LF on the West Branch of Silver Creek, just west of Wisconsin will be stabilized through excavation and rock riffle installation. There will be an existing culvert extension and a new culvert installation. HMA access and driveway areas are also included. Approximately 18 acres of ag land will be converted into native prairie; grading for access paths/firebreaks will occur in the prairie area prior to seeding. There is an alternate for the seeding work and an alternate for the seeing work and three years of maintenance.
