Description | The City of Monona reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. This project consists of repairs to a partially collapsed sanitary line coming from the Men’s Bathroom in the Monona Fire Department. To properly replace the line the CONTRACTOR will be required to cut it out of the floor slab from behind a concrete block wall. This project also includes removals of 2 basin sinks, 2 urinals, and 2 toilets with stalls. Removal of ceramic tile, light fixtures, mirrors, and some plumbing will also be required. These items will be replaced with all the necessary plumbing needed for 1 urinal, 1 toilet (ADA compliant with stall), 1 basin sink with counter, mirrors, and vanity. 5 new ceiling mounted (flush or recessed) LED lights will also be installed. A new steel stud and drywall wall will need to be built, furring out a concrete masonry wall to replumb a new sink and hang a new vanity. CONTRACTOR will need to reinstall dispensers to meet ADA compliance (existing soap, toilet paper, and paper towel dispensers to be reused), while also hanging a new mirror, and paint old door to shower room. Repainting the shower room trim/framing and the rest of the bathroom walls is also required. This project also includes the expansion of the entryway door/frame for ADA compliance as well as replacement of epoxy flooring in the hallway adjacent the bathroom. There are 2 existing touchless sensors for the urinals, 1 of which needs to be reused the other the City will keep. All other materials necessary to perform this work are to be provided by the CONTRACTOR. Any and all other services as it pertains to the successful installation of the above-listed items are the CONTRACTOR. |
