Description

Holt Truck Centers is a 13,708 square foot truck center on. The building includes Retail Parts - Parts Counter, 3 Offices, Drivers Lounge, Toilets, Coffee Bar, Vending Area, Service Advisors, Foreman Desk IT Room, Breakroom, Men's Lockers / Toilet, Women's Lockers / Toilet, Parts Warehouse, Tool Room 7 Work Bays, 1 Wash Bay, Lube Room/Lubrication System, Compressor Room. The site has an entrance drive, 45 truck parking spaces on paved area, 16 car parking spaces on paved area. Initial Kick-Off Meeting with Facility Development, Design Team, and General Contractor. Notice to Proceed with Pre-Construction Services Activities Friday, January 13, 2023, Pre-Construction Conference Meeting Monday, January 16, 2023 Respondents at the sole discretion of the Owner's Evaluation Committee could be invited to participate in a Project Management Team Interview to be conducted at the Holt Company Headquarters in San Antonio, TX. If an Interview is required, the order of Interviews will be in reverse order based on the Bid Proposal Amount (highest to lowest). Each Respondent shall assume full responsibility for timely delivery of their bid to the location designated for receipt of bids. Bids received after the date and time for receipt of bids will not receive consideration and will be returned unopened. Each Proposal must be accompanied by Proposal Security in the amount of Five Percent (5%) of the total Proposal, pledging that the successful respondent will, within twenty (20) calendar days after the successful Respondent is notified of the acceptance of its Proposal, enter into written Contract with the owner on the terms stated in the Proposal Documents, as evidenced by the unconditional execution and delivery of such Contract, along with Payment and Performance Bond, evidence of insurance, and other contract submittals as required by the Proposal Documents. Should the successful Respondent fail or refuse to enter into such Contract or furnish such bonds or evidence of insurance within the time frame stated above, such Proposal security shall be forfeited to the Owner as damages, not as a penalty. Such Proposal security shall be in the form of a certified check payable to the order of the Owner, or a bond in favor of the Owner. The bond shall be on AIA Document A310-2010 and shall be issued by an "A Rated" corporate surety, duly authorized and admitted to do business in the State of Texas and licensed by the State of Texas to issue surety bonds. The corporate surety must also be listed on the U.S. Department of Treasury's listing of Certified Companies (see following website to check the corporate surety's certification status - http://www.fms.treas.gov/ c570/c570_a-z.html). If the amount of the bond exceeds the legal underwriting limitation of the surety, the Respondent and the surety shall provide the Owner with evidence that the excess is reinsured with one or more reinsurers who are duly authorized, accredited, and licensed to do business in the State of Texas and also listed on the U.S. Department of Treasury's listing of Certified Companies. Any Proposal which is not accompanied with Proposal security in the form and amount required herein shall be rejected as non-conforming. The Owner shall have the right to retain the security of all Respondents to whom an award is being considered until either (i) the Contract has been unconditionally executed and delivered by the parties and any required payment and performance bonds, evidence of insurance, and other Contract submittals have been furnished, or (ii) all Proposals have been rejected by the Owner without the acceptance of any Proposal.
