| Description | Scope of Work: 1. The Contractor shall saw cut and remove existing concrete pavement, curb and gutter, and median improvements. All removed structures, debris shall be removed as noted in the plans and disposed properly. 2. . Contractor shall provide new striping and signs, removable bollards, and additional bases as indicated on the plans. Contractor shall also remove all existing striping in conflict with the installation of new striping. 3.The Contractor shall construct new high early strength (HES) concrete pavement as indicated on the plans. The new curb shall be poured monolithically with the new concrete median. 4.The Contractor shall build the foundations for new gates as shown in the plans, and coordinate with Owner’s designated representative for proper reinforcing and anchor bolt placement. If City of El paso provides the gates during construction, contractor shall coordinate with provider of gates for installation. |
