Essington Comed Crossing Water Main Improvements

The proposed construction consists of the installation of approximately 40 lineal feet of 4-inch, 100 lineal feet of 6-inch, 140 lineal feet of 8-inch, and 3,100 lineal feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main installed by open cut method, including new hydrants, valves, and appurtenances; approximately 160 lineal feet of 12-inch ductile iron water main in 36-inch steel casing installed by dry jack and bore; approximately 100 lineal feet of 12-inch HDPE water main installed by horizontal directional drilling; water services; lawn restoration; and other miscellaneous items of work. The contract will include all work necessary to install the water main, install water service lines via directional drilling or open cut methods, reconnect existing water service lines, restore the roadway, and perform all restoration
