Roll-Off Container Service

To provide roll-off containers and pick-up/dropoff services for the City’s Solid Waste Department. This service includes, but is not limited to, Class I roll-off compactors and Class III and C&D open-top containers. Proposals shall be for pull charges and service charges only. Prices shall be inclusive of all fees and no extraneous charges, such as trip fees or turnaround fees, will be permitted. Disposal rates and agreements have been pre-established between the City and any disposal sites. Unless otherwise specified by the City, all Class I material is to be delivered to the North Polk County Landfill in Winter Haven, FL and Class III material is to be delivered to Angelo’s Recycled Materials in Dade City, FL. The following is a list of potential haul sites and historical pull numbers. This is the basis for the pricing component and is an estimate based on historical usage. a) Polk County Landfill via Polk Parkway – 1,500 pulls per year b) Angelo’s Recycled Materials, Dade City- 180 pulls per year c) Paragon Development Group, Plant City – 120 pulls per year d) Hillsborough County on Faulkenburg Rd – 12 pulls per year e) Southeast Hillsborough County Landfill - 12 pulls per year (tires) f) Republic Recycling, Auburndale – 15 pulls per year
