Description

The purpose of this Request for Qualifications (RFQ) is to solicit responses from qualified firms or individuals to provide Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) Services for the replacement of a 72-inch butterfly valve at the Cypress Creek Water Treatment Plant (CCWTP) in Pasco County. The existing 72-inch valve is not operable and remains in the open position. CMAR services will include Pre-Construction/Design and Construction services for (one or two) new 72-inch valve(s), approximately 200 feet of new 72-inch steel, cement lined piping, a new 72-inch venturi flowmeter, the relocation of the existing sodium hypochlorite and aqua ammonia chemical feed systems with static mixer, the tie-in locations to the existing piping, and a proposed solution for the installation of a temporary bypass line. A temporary bypass line is required as the facility must remain operational at all times. Additionally, the project addresses an existing capital project for of the construction of a Post Node Analyzer Building. Respondents should have an established reputation and documented successful experience in providing CMAR Services. The Respondent selected is expected to have appropriately experienced staff and resources to provide comprehensive, reliable products and services regarding the Project and will be required to demonstrate this via the submittal documents and/or associated interviews, if deemed necessary.
