Description

As of October 17, 2023, the Town decided to not go forward with the project and rebid at a later date. No definite date for the rebid. Town of Wise - Pump Station and Tank Rehabilitations for the Town of Wise, which consists of: Contract I: the rehabilitation of Birchfield Pump Station, including all associated improvements, Contract II: the rehabilitation of the Gateway Subdivision Tank, Dotson Park Tank No. 1 and Tank No. 2, including all associated improvements, Contract III: the rehabilitation of the Modoc Tank No. 2 and Airport Tank, including all associated improvements, and Contract IV: the rehabilitation of the VDH Health Department Tank and Hospital Tank, including all associated improvements Withdrawal of bids shall be according to procedure (i) of the Virginia Public Procurement Act and to the Code of Virginia (2.2-4330). Bids must be accompanied by Bid security as specified in the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bidder must be licensed as a Class A contractor in the State of Virginia; Bidders are instructed to review the Code of Virginia, Title 54.1, Chapter 11, prior to bidding. MBE/WBE firms are encouraged to submit bids. The Owner does not discriminate against faith-based organizations in accordance with the Code of Virginia, 2.2-4343.1. The Contract(s) shall be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible Bidder(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all Bids if it appears in its best interest to do so.
