Description | The City is seeking a qualified firm with the experience, expertise, and qualifications to provide biosolids management services for the City of Stockton Regional Wastewater Control Facility (RWCF). The RWCF produces approximately 1,000 to 2,500 wet tons of Class B biosolids per month. The amount of biosolids the successful Contractor may be asked to handle may vary depending on seasonal production variations or dewatering equipment mechanical failures. There are no minimum or maximum quantities guaranteed. The City does not assume any liability or responsibility for errors/omissions in any document transmitted electronically. Prevailing wage rates are required for this project according to State and Federal Labor laws Every bid offered shall be accompanied by an acceptable financial instrument (bidder's bond, certified or cashier's check) in favor of and payable at sight to the City of Stockton for an amount not less than 10% or a bidder's bond executed by a surety authorized by the Insurance Commissioner to transact business of insurance in the State of California, made out in favor of the CITY OF STOCKTON for an amount not less than 10% and no bid shall be considered unless accompanied by such certified or cashier's check or bidder's bond. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish the City of Stockton with a Faithful Performance Bond for the Digester Cleaning Services, the Performance Bond is to be equal to the the bid amount for the digester work being performed and shall furnish prior to the work starting. Five (5) year contract, with two (2) optional five (5) year extension. The City reserves the right to reject any and/or all bids received. |
