Description

City of Brentwood Water Treatment Plant Chemical Storage Improvements. Performing Work as Follows: Furnishing All Labor, Materials, Except for Those Materials Supplied by the District as Set Forth, District Furnished Materials, Equipment, and Performing All Work Necessary and Incidental to the Construction of the Project Known as the City of Brentwood Water Treatment Plant Chemical Storage Improvements. The Work Includes, but is Not Limited to, Removing Existing Chemical Storage Tank; Demolishing Concrete Support for Existing Tank; Removing Pipe Supports, Chemical Piping, Valves, Fittings, Conduits, Control Equipment or Panels, and Instrumentation; Disposing of Removed Materials and Equipment Unless Otherwise Specified; Furnishing and Installing Chemical Storage Tanks, Chemical Feed Pumps, Piping, Fittings, Valves, Pipe Supports, Conduits, Conductors, Control Equipment or Panel, and Instrumentation; Modifying Existing Control Panels; Repurposing Existing Conduit, Conductors, and Instrumentation; Constructing Concrete Tank Support; Relining Existing Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic (Frp) Chemical Storage Tanks; Testing, Startup, and Commissioning of New Equipment; Providing Training to District Staff for New Equipment; and Performing Related Required Work at the City of Brentwood Water Treatment Plant as Shown on the Drawings and Specified Herein to Make a Complete Project. Note That the Bidding Procedures for This Project, Described in Section 00150, Special Bidding Procedures, May Affect the Portions of Work That Will Be Included in the Award of Contract, if Any. Project is to Be Completed Within Five Hundred and Seventy Eight (578) Consecutive Days From the Date Specified in the Notice to Proceed. Time for Commencement and Completion of the Work is Important, and is to Be of the Essence of the Contract.
