Description | Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park Food Processing and Manufacturing Facility - Package I A. Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park Food Processing and Manufacturing Facility 1. The 20,000 square foot building is to be a pre-engineered metal building having the following features: a. Associated Site and Green Infrastructure. b. The pre-engineered building is assumed to include PBR metal panels with blanklet insulation and roof systems to meet the requirements of the current NYS Energy code. The pre-engineered metal building is to be manufactured by a nationally recognized company, like CECO, Nucor, or approved equal. c. 1 Loading dock to be integrated into the design of the pre-engineered building capable of receiving deliveries form multiple truck sizes. It is the understanding that the loading docks are to be located on the South ends of the building and be accessed from the primary existing roadway. d. A primary common entrance (Main Entry) is to be integrated into the design of the pre-engineered building. This entrance is estimated to be situated on the West facade of the pre-engineered building. e. Package I does not include the scope of work that is found in Package II but will require the coordiation between the packages f. Utilities are present on site or within close adjacencies for connection to the new pre-engineered metal building. This project is funded in part by the Economic Development Administration of the US Department of Commerce, and Empire State Development and contracts will be in accordance with all requirements of those agencies. Federal prevailing wage rates and other standard federal employment requirements will apply. All Prime Contract Bidders who have paid the aforesaid deposit for an entire set of Bidding and Contract Documents and have submitted a bid with required bid security; and return such sets to Dataflow Inc. Rochester office in GOOD CONDITION within thirty (30) calendar days after the award of contract or rejection of bids, shall receive a refund of the full amount of such deposit. Any NON-BIDDER may be refunded his deposit only upon returning plans and specifications PRIOR to the bid opening. Postage and HANDLING are NOT REFUNDABLE. All questions prior to bid opening must be received by the close of business on Friday, July 7th, 2023.
