Description

The purpose of this RFCSP is to select a vendor that is qualified to furnish and provide all supervision, labor, transportation, tools, equipment and supplies necessary to manufacture, replace and/or install new: Solid Surface (Corian(R)) Countertops, Quartz Countertops, Granite Countertops, and Plastic Laminate (Wilsonart(R)) Countertops. Service shall be for Building Equipment Services Department ("BESD") supported facilities. Respondent shall furnish the necessary labor and materials, service equipment, tools, transportation, and methods of communication and, if required, miscellaneous services to provide removal of existing countertops and installation of new countertops. Respondent shall perform work as per the manufacturer's requirements and this RFCSP Evaluation Committee Alexander Martinez, Facilities Project Manager, Building and Equipment Services Department Robert Westbrook, Battalion Chief, San Antonio Fire Department Gerald Acuna, Facilities Coordinator, Building and Equipment Services Department Grace Diaz, Facilities Compliance Manager, Building and Equipment Services Department Rod Rodriguez, Division Chief of Facilities, San Antonio Fire Department Applicable Product Categories: 90930 - Building Construction, (Not Otherwise Classified) Pursuant to Section 003 Instructions to Respondents - Restriction on Communications, Respondents are prohibited from contact 1) City officials, as defined by 2-62 of the City Code of the City of San Antonio, regarding the RFCSP or proposal from the time the RFCSP has been released until the contract is posted for consideration as an agenda item during a meeting designated as an "A" session; and 2) City employees from the time the RFCSP has been released until the contract is approved at a City Council "A" session. Respondents may submit written questions, or objections to specifications, concerning this RFCSP to the Staff Contact Person listed on the Cover Page on or before 10 calendar days prior to the date proposals are due. Questions received after the stated deadline will not be answered. Questions submitted and City's responses will be posted with this solicitation. All questions shall be sent by e-mail.
