Description

Direct questions in writing via email to Audrey Kendrick, audrey@ceviandesign.com City of Cedartown, Georgia Turner Street Community Center Advertisement for Bids (Project No. 22020) The City of Cedartown, Georgia, is seeking sealed bids for the demolition of the existing Turner Street Community Center and the new construction of a new community center as described in the specifications, drawings, and bid documents. Bid may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of proposal for a period of 60 days. General Scope of Work: The work to be done consists of furnishing all the labor, tools, equipment, and materials necessary for the demolition and new construction of the Turner Street Community Center per the drawings and specifications provided. The Architect retains ownership and copyrights to all contract documents. All questions should be submitted via e-mail to Audrey Kendrick, audrey@ceviandesign.com. The City of Cedartown, Georgia, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to re-solicit if deemed necessary. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the Bid Sum. A Georgia Resident Agent must countersign all bid bonds. A faithful Performance Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Bid, and a Labor & Materials Payment Bond in the amount of not less than the amount of said Bid, one hundred percent (100%), as provided by Georgia Code Section 23-1704 and 23-1705, shall be furnished by the successful bidder. The City of Cedartown, Georgia, reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive informalities, and to re-solicit if deemed necessary.
