OPN Project no - 212130002 Bid security in the amount of 5% of the total bid in the form of certified check, credit union share draft, or surety bond written on an original AIA Document A310, Bid Bond, is required for this project at the time of Bid. The successful bidder will be required to provide surety Performance and Payment Bonds in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum Awards of Contract is anticipated to commence on or about March 28, 2022. Work may begin on May 19, 2022 and is scheduled to be Substantially Complete by July 14, 2023 as shown on the Contract Documents. A public hearing will be conducted at a meeting to be held at the Marion Independent School District Administration Building Board Room, 777 S. 15th Street, Marion, Iowa 52302, at 6:00 p.m., on March 7, 2022, at which time and place any person may appear and file objections to the proposed plans, specifications, form of contract, and the estimated cost of said project. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, or any part thereof, and to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract or contracts as shall be deemed in the best interest of the Owner Project No. 06215072.01, 212130000 The deposit will be refunded to Bidders who return the Bidding Documents in good condition within fourteen days after award of project. The cost of replacement of missing or damaged documents will be deducted from the deposit.
