Compass Memorial Healthcare Emergency Department and Inpatient Addition and Renovation Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa)

Compass Memorial Healthcare is requesting proposals for Construction Manager as Advisor (CMa). The request for proposal is part of a competitive selection process to engage a CM firm to provide services for the construction of the Emergency Department & Inpatient Addition and Renovation. Compass Memorial Healthcare has procured the services of Solum Lang Architects to provide professional services for the design of this project. A copy of the most recent Preliminary Concept drawings are included as Appendix A. Compass Memorial Healthcare has submitted an application for funding this project with the USDARural Development. Commencement of this project is dependent on the timing of securing financing. Owner is hopeful for a construction start date of October 1, 2023. The current Project Scope consists of following proposed base project: Addition & Renovation to Emergency Department Addition & Renovation to Inpatient Unit Addition & Renovation of Business Offices Renovation of Imaging Department Renovation of Specialty Clinic The approximate work area encompasses 35,750 SF +/ It is intended that this project will be delivered using a CMa. The form of contract for CMa Services will be AIA C132-2019, Standard Form of Agreement Between Owner and Construction Manager as Adviser with USDA Rural Development attachments. The selected CMa firm will not be allowed to perform any of the construction work Selection Committee Proposal Review 3/1/2023 Notification of Selected CMa firm Contingent* RD does not allow for the CMa firm to be selected until they have reviewed the proposal that the Selection Committee is recommending. RD's review process will take several weeks to complete.
