5.8 Miles of Resurfacing on I-57 From Herrin Road to Old IL 13 in Marion

The project includes HMA surface removal 2” and HMA surface course 2” on the driving and middle lanes of I-57, the southbound exit and entrance ramps at Old IL 13 in Marion and both northbound and southbound entrance and exit ramps at Johnston City. There will be pavement and subbase removal and replacement under SN 100-0054 (Cedar Grove Rd) and SN 100-0057 (Stotlar Rd.) Work also includes Class B and C pavement patching, shoulder rumble strips, pavement marking and raised reflective pavement markers.
