RFP Design - Architectural and Engineering Services for Furniture, Fixtures and Equipment (FFE) for Fuse at Mason Square

All inquiries for information should be directed to: Stacy Borzi, Contracts Specialist Email: sborzi@gmu.edu The purpose of this RFP is to solicit proposals for the purposes of entering into a contract through competitive negotiations for the professional services of an Architectural/Engineering firm, authorized to do business in the Commonwealth of Virginia. The A/E shall provide professional services for the project described in Part V, SCOPE OF SERVICES, 'PHASE I OF A/E PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT' of this RFP consistent with the A/E Manual, as revised, and latest directives issued by the Division of Engineering and Buildings concerning construction and professional services for new and renovated State buildings The Agency's documents indicated in Section IV above describe the program, functional arrangement, and level of quality desired by the Agency. The selected A/E shall furnish all expertise, labor and resources for complete design and construction period services for the project in accordance with the requirements of the A/E Manual. The following generally highlights the services that the A/E will be required to perform: Phases of Work: Schematic Design, Preliminary Design, Contract Working Drawings, Bidding and Installation Contract Administration. Owner's Small Business Participation Goal: 50% -with targets for 29% Small Business, 8.5% women owned business and 8.5% minority owned business, 1% micro businesses, 1% employment services, 1% historically black colleges and universities and 1% service disabled veterans. Procure Design Services: Completed by 1 December 2022 Schematic Design: 1 January 2023 - 31 March 2023 Preliminary Design: 1 April 2023 - 30 June 2023 Working Drawings: 1 July 2023 - 31 August 2023 Bid and Procure Furnishings: 1 September 2023 - 31 January 2024 Fabricate for Delivery: 1 February 2024 - 31 December 2024* Deliver and Install: 15 January 2025 - 30 April 2025*
