Description | As of December 20, 2022, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. The Nine Mile Pedestrian Bicycle Bridge Over SH-83 is a partnered Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) project that will consist of the following work to be performed: Construction of a new covered and enclosed pedestrian bridge spanning S. Parker Road (SH-83) Construction of bridge landings, including elevator towers with mechanical, maintenance, electrical rooms, and stairs and elevators at each end of the bridge Installation of four elevators Installation of temporary and permanent concrete flatwork and landscaping for access to and around the landings and bridge Resetting of a CDOT owned overhead sign structure in the median of S. Parker Road Modifications to existing wayfinding signage Anticipated Construction Period: December 2022 to January 2024.
