A/E Services for the Renovation of the PEI Dormitories

Architectural/Engineering Firms registered in the State of Florida. In early nineteen sixties, the famous Architect I.M. Pei was commissioned by New College to design the Student Life portion of the New College campus. While care should be taken to both preserve and restore key historical features of architectural note, the College’s goals are to restore the spirt of the original Pei design, and reflect the values of I.M. Pei for the students who will occupy the space. The project will consist of the renovation of approximately 73,000 gross square feet of building area, within a two-story multi-building college dormitory facility. The facility is made up of three courts consisting of 43 to 45 dorm rooms w/private bathrooms. There are also (2) common rooms, a laundry room and rooms dedicated to custodial and maintenance within the 73,000 gross square feet. The scope of the renovations will include but is not limited too; roofing, HVAC, all bathrooms, plumbing, electrical, interior finishes, building envelope, windows, window treatments, interior and exterior light, access control and courtyard landscape.
