Coopers Mill S/D- Phase 1

Award: Arrowood General Contracting, Inc - $427,571.70 The work consists of: Water System Improvements. Installation of 1,970 LF of 8 water main, 2,415 LF of 6 water main, (4) fire hydrants, and related appurtenances to serve approximately 97 new residences, and provide flow for fire protection. CITY OF WESTMINSTER reserves the right to waive any informality, and/or the right to reject any and all bids. The contract award will be based on an evaluated bid analysis. The Owner reserves the right to award a contract based solely on the evaluation criteria and not necessarily the lowest bid. The owner will have the final say and will be the sole judge in the evaluation Each bidder shall deposit with his bid(s), security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided for in the Information for Bidders. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening thereof. For work costing $5,000 or more, the bidder must be qualified under the provisions of the South Carolina General & Mechanical Contracting Act of 2001, Chapter 11 – Title 40, as amended. Where a mechanical subcontract amounts to $5,000 or more, the subcontractor shall be licensed under the same act.
